It did not escape the notice of the SPS Class of 2019 that the campus happens to include a large cathedral -- in fact, the sixth largest cathedral in the world! On the second-to-last day of the program, those with a head for heights ventured up (and up and up and up . . .) into the Bell Tower of the Washington National Cathedral to check out the view, the gargoyles (part of the drainage system), the grotesques (commonly referenced as "gargoyles" but purely decorative), and, yes, some
really large bells!
