SPS 2018: Visit to the National Museum of African American History and Culture
Today the St. Albans School of Public Service class of 2018 was lucky enough to be able as a group to spend the morning at the National Museum of African American History and Culture on the National Mall. The Museum was designed "to explore what it means to be an American and to share how American values like resiliency, optimism, and spirituality are reflected in African American history and culture," and, judging by the reaction of the SPS 2018 class, it more than succeeds in its aims.
