SPS 2018: A Small Group "Ted Trip" to Hear the Mexican Ambassador to the U.S.

The St. Albans School of Public Service would not be the same without the optional small group trips throughout the session, led by SPS faculty member Mr. Ted Eagles.  Fondly dubbed "Ted Trips," the outings include book launches, think tank lectures and panels, and Congressional hearing.  So far there have been five "Ted Trips" during the SPS 2018 session.  Today's small group outing went to the Hudson Institute, a D.C. think tank, for a conversation with the Honorable  Gerónimo Gutiérrez Fernández, Ambassador of Mexico to the United States, for a discussion about the current state of U.S.-Mexico relations.

After a conversation moderated by a Hudson Institute Distinguished Fellow, the audience had a chance to submit questions on notecards.  Our roving correspondent reports that three SPS questions were chosen for the Ambassador to answer.  (See below for a video of the event attended by our SPS small group today.)
