St. Albans School is located on a 55-acre campus, formally known as the "Cathedral Close" (a "Close" is the English word for the land immediately surrounding a Cathedral), which we share with the Washington National Cathedral and two other schools (National Cathedral School, an all-girls' school, and Beauvoir, an elementary school). Most of those who have checked in already on SPS Arrival Day are currently off with some of our Residential Faculty member on a tour of the Cathedral Close and the neighborhood. We will run an additional tour for later-arriving students and will have a "mobile trivia hunt" before dinner that will help them learn their way around St. Albans School itself.
