Some Sights and Sounds from Week 2 at SPS

It's been a week on the go for the St. Albans School of Public Service class of 2014 during Week 2 of SPS '14!  Here are some of the sights and sounds of the week:
Above, SPS '14 gives the iconic "I believe that we will win" cheer of U.S. soccer fans during the 2014 World Cup as we prepared to listen to the U.S. v. Belgium game on the radio en route to our visit to Arlington National Cemetery.

Below, here is a clip from the Changing of the Guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier during our visit to Arlington National Cemetery:

Above, the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, known as the Commandant's Own, marches off after their performance during the Sunset Parade at the Iwo Jima Memorial.  The Sunset Parade ended with an amazing display of precision marching and drill by the Silent Drill Platoon (see below for a brief clip):

What's more American than a night at the ballpark, followed by a pre-Independence Day fireworks show? Below, the last out of the baseball game (the Nats won): Below, a clip of the fireworks show after the Washington Nationals baseball game:
