SPS 2017: Architect of the Capitol and the National Portrait Gallery

The members of the St. Albans School of Public Service Class of 2017 divided and conquered today.  One part of the group went on a walking tour of Capitol Hill with the representatives of the Architect of the Capitol's office to learn how the AOC stewards and protects the historic buildings, monuments and grounds of the Capitol.

The other part of the SPS Class of 2017 (need we speculate, the members of the group most committed to air conditioning on this scorching summer day?) visited the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery.
