SPS 2011: The Foreign Policy Crisis Simulation Comes to a Close

After a long afternoon of negotiating to avoid the use of force in the four-way stand-off over Falkland Island oil deposits, alas . . . the countries were not able to avoid hostilities. (As the simulation came to a close, it became apparent that the future of the imaginary oil reserves would have to be resolved by the imaginary use of force by imaginary troops.) Back at SPS, Team China was recognized by the outside simulation moderators for obtaining the best strategic results (by cleverly playing the other three countries off against each other), and Team Argentina was recognized for having the best decision-making dynamics.
