SPS 2011: Weekend Update

People sometimes compare the architecture at St. Albans to Hogwarts (no quidditch here, though), so perhaps it was fitting that today the SPS Class of 2011 went to the final Harry Potter movie: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It was even 3D!

We saw the movie at what is generally recognized at the best movie theater in Washington, D.C., the historic Uptown Theater in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of the District. After the movie, the group fanned out to enjoy dinner at neighborhood restaurants. Everyone should be tired when they get back on campus, because the day started with a museum outing--students had the choice of visiting the Holocaust Museum, the National Gallery of Art (including the whimsical Sculpture Garden), and the Spy Museum. It'll be an early night tonight, because we need to be up early tomorrow to attend Meet the Press at NBC Studios!
